Frontier Records Reissues

I got a package from Frontier Records the other day. They've repressed heaps of classic albums on coloured vinyl over the years and all of them are still available here. This is what I got. Sorry about the shit photos but I can't afford a good camera because I blow all my money on records.

Christian Death - Only Theatre Of Pain
Red vinyl. The best Christian Death album ever and the only one with both Rozz Williams and Rikk Agnew on it. I just need to track down the Deathwish ep.

Rikk Agnew - All By Myself
Blue vinyl. I don't usually like solo albums from punk musicians but I like this one. He plays every fucking instrument as well so it's a true solo record.

Adolescents LP
Silver 25th Anniversary edition. Another Rikk Agnew band. Another classic.

Circle Jerks - Group Sex
Transparent Pink

Suicidal Tendencies LP
Red/Silver 25th Anniversary Edition

Godflesh reissues

The first Godflesh EP and first album Streetcleaner have been reissued by Kreation Records. I picked up both of the limited copies. If you like slow, heavy industrial like Swans and Filth Pig era Ministry you should get them here now.

Godflesh EP
Clear with black, grey and white splatter limited to 200 copies.

Streetcleaner LP
Clear with orange and black splatter limited to 250 copies.

7 Year Bitch Vinyl Collection Part 3

Viva Zapata! LP
Released in 1994 by C/Z Records. This is by far the best 7 Year Bitch release and also one of the hardest to get. Both the CD and LP have been out of print for a long time. I don't know the pressing info for this record, my one's on black and I've never seen a coloured version out there. This album is a tribute to The Gits singer Mia Zapata who was sadly murdered, that's her on the front cover and her painting on the back. Her killer had not been found at the time this record was made so as you can imagine it is filled with rage. The Gits were another amazing band I'll probably post some of their records later.

Gato Negro LP
Released in 1996 on Atlantic Records this is unfortunately their last album. This one's on clear green vinyl and I have seen regular black ones around too but I'm not sure of the pressing info for this. Came with insert.

Miss Understood 7"
Released in 1996 on Man's Ruin. This is one of the best packaging I've seen for a 7". It's been made to look like a vintage children's book with 8 full colour pages filled with Frank Kozik artwork. 2000 pressed on red and 500 pressed on black.

Well that's my collection so far. If anyone knows of something I've missed let me know.

7 Year Bitch Vinyl Collection Part 2

7 Year Bitch 10" Picture Disc
I really hate picture discs and I'm not a fan of 10" vinyl either. Picture discs look and sound like shit and they usually don't come with packaging. Only bought it to complete the collection. All of these songs are on the Sick 'Em cd but that was never released in full on vinyl so this is the closest thing. Released in 1992 by C/Z Records. Limited to 2500 hand numbered copies.

1993 Peel Sessions 7"
I think this is a bootleg as it has no labels or info. 4 tracks from Peel Session recording.

Rock A Bye Baby 7"
Released in 1994 by C/Z Records. Limited tour single on clear blue vinyl

I'll post part 3 next time.

7 Year Bitch Vinyl Collection Part 1

For my first posts i'm going to put up pictures and info from my 7 Year Bitch collection. They were an all girl Seattle punk/grunge band from the 90s. I've been trying to collect everything from this band for the past 10 years now and there's not much information out there. Hopefully it's of interest to someone.

Lorna / No Fuckin' War / You Smell Lonely 7"

I'll start with the first 7" from 1991. This is a clear purple first press on Face The Music. It was repressed again in 1992 by C/Z Records on black vinyl with different labels. There may have been a coloured version on C/Z but i've only seen it on black. Both came with insert of a girl bashing a cop with lyrics on back.

Antidisestablishmentarianism 7"
Now that's a long title! Released in 1992 by Rugger Bugger Discs. There were 2200 pressed, 1250 with yellow labels, 650 with blue labels and 300 with pink. I've got the blue label one.

7 Year Bitch / Thatcher On Acid Split 7"
Released in 1992 by Clawfist Records as part of their singles club. Limited to 1400 copies. 7 Year Bitch recorded a cover of Thatcher On Acids "Can We Laugh Now" and Thatcher cover their song "No Fuckin' War".

That's all for now, I'll post more next time.
